Nintendo would like to inform you that a Nintendo Channel update is now avaiable. The update includes the following features:

- View other users' recommendations in the "Everyone's Recommendations" feature.

- Provide recommendations for your favourite Nintendo DS and Wii software.

- Bookmark your favourite games, making them easier to find on future visits.

- View records of the Wii software you've played as well as records of the software you've recommended with the "Records" feature.

What is the Nintendo Channel?

Avaiable as a free download from the Wii Shop Channel, the Nintendo Channel allows you to search and review the latest product information on software titles for both Wii and Nintendo DS systems. The Nintendo Channel allows you to do the following:

- Watch game trailers, mini-documentaries, product demonstrations or other game-related videos.

- Download demos of Nintendo DS titles to your Nintendo DS system.

- Participate in polling features and provide valuable feedback for anyone searching for games that may be suited to their tastes.

Before updating your Nintendo Channel to the latest version, you may need to install the latest version of the Wii Menu. Select the UPDATE button on the lower-right to update your Wii console. You can also update by selecting Wii SYSTEM UPDATE in the Wii Settings.

In order to receive the updated version of the Nintendo Channel, please download it again from the Wii Shop Channel.

Note: If you have already updated your Wii console since 21 October 2009, you do not need to update it again.
